any states. Its VERY important for your Deaf Community in your area
needs! |

| Deaf and Hard of Hearing who live in states asked me
and email
say: "Wally, You are lucky you have so much great in the Deaf Community
in Memphis!" and "I wish I have a website in my area
for the Deaf Community or events but how??" |

My answer -
- You can do that yourself or with your
partner.
- You can create a website for your Deaf
Community in your area.
- You can setup Deaf Community and Deaf events
in your area.
- You will see grow Deaf Community in your area
for fun events!

| Let me explain shortly but I can't explain deep
because its depending on what you needs in the area. Here is simply -- |

| If you wanted a website - go to

| Setup your own domain. Example: If you live in
Little Rock, Arkansas then like look this LittleRockDeafCommunity.com (or
org, net, etc. depending which do you like and vary price) then create a
page for your community to start spread out about your area Deaf
Community. If you don't know how to setup then you need to call GoDaddy
Tech Support how to setup for your Deaf Community. They will be glad to
help you with your domain and Web Hosting to setup in your website or
page to start with but Tech Support cannot create for your page because
they are not support "create" for you. Or you may use Yahoo had an offer for free
page but understand limited space. My website MemphisDeafCommunity.org
is so huge space, that's why I have to use
GoDaddy because its a good size space. Either you like other domain
company lists as like GoDaddy.com but I suggest for you to use above
link GoDaddy better for your website and GoDaddy is very cheapest
price! |

| What if you say "I don't have many deaf here
in my area?"... Do not worry. You can send out in your eNewsletter
and ask them to come for the events then be patient for a while in about
a few months or so then they will grow and grow in Deaf Community. Same
we do MDC. In first time MDC in 2005 was very small Deaf people then now
grow 900 readers MDC eNewsletter. But not all Deaf/HOH. Some of hearing
people who are interested to go Deaf Community which of them who work
for Interpreters, Deaf Services, organization, etc., etc.. Be patient. |

here" -- Go to www.DeafVP.com to
find your area in a state or Tri-states to find email and vp there on
the lists. Ask them if they are interest to join Deaf Community in your
area. Its simply. And can be
www.DeafConnect.com but most of them oldest emails so I use
www.DeafVP.com are the best! |

| How can I add Deaf Events in the area? |

- You may add Deaf Chat Coffee at Starbucks in
your area. Ask
www.DeafCoffee.com add a link in your area. That's help.
- You may ask Interpreter Service to add info
about your Deaf Community.
- You may ask your friends mouth-to-mouth
"sign-to-sign" to help spread the words about your Deaf Community
area.
- Setup Silent Dinner in the Mall.
- Setup Deaf meeting for events.
- Deaf school may interest.
- Deaf Sports in your area.
- VR might help for your Community.
- Any Deaf organizations may be help.
- Deaf church
- Sign Classes
- And much more!!

| If you need money for a website. Try ask Deaf
community in your area for a donate to help for website fees. Same MDC
do. .... Or if you cannot afford to pay for domain, Web Hosting and fees
then you can go to
http://www.orgsites.com/ for free page your own. But I read there
and myself I think its for Organization but try email to them to see if
they accepted for Community who are not Organization. |
